A 15 km drive starts National Park Drents-Friese Wold. Drive by car to Diever or Doldersum and from there start hiking, biking and enjoying heathland, sand drifts and forest. The varied open plains, purple colors and forest let you enjoy what a unique country we actually live in.
The national park is strong in being accessible to all. There are family trails that are also manageable with strollers or wheelchairs. Routes for the visually impaired have also been created.
