About the forest house
Boshuis de Eikenhorst is a luxury vacation home for up to 30 people. The forest house features ten bedrooms, six bathrooms and a very spacious living room (125m2) with fireplace. In the dining area you can enjoy lunch and dinner together. The fully equipped kitchen has a 6-burner stove, two dishwashers, three refrigerators, oven and microwave. Finally, there is a large conservatory with beautiful views of the garden and forest and offers space for drinks or playing games. The house is ideal for small children because everything is on the first floor. Is anyone in the group less able-bodied? Everything is on one level, there are no thresholds and two bathrooms are adapted for wheelchair users. These bathrooms have a raised toilet with brackets. There are also six high-low beds.
Immediate environment
Located on De Bult, a few kilometers from National Park De Weerribben-Wieden, Steenwijk, Frederiksoord and Giethoorn you will find hidden in the woods this luxury vacation home. The plot is two acres and all yours during your stay! In the immediate vicinity you will find forests, moors, meadows, unique farms and a castle. You walk or bike directly into the forest area. You will also find some restaurants and a snack bar within walking distance.
Garden and playground equipment
The grounds consist of forest and a beautiful garden with forest pond. Flora and fauna thrive there. Don’t be surprised if deer walk by the window or a squirrel tries to go inside. The garden offers all the space for the children. For example, there is a climbing frame, swing, sandbox, table tennis table, not to mention an air trampoline. But the forest offers lots of fun; building huts, playing hide and seek, spotting animals and climbing. Experience nature!
Finnish kota
In the garden you will find an authentic Finnish Kota. In this little wooden house, you can sit comfortably. The kota is equipped with a large grill and offers a nice place to barbecue all year round.
Hot tub
In a beautiful spot on the edge of the forest and garden, stands a luxurious spacious hot tub for 4 to 6 people. This wood-fired pool provides all-day water fun for the kids or experience a truly dark sky for yourself from a lovely warm bath in the evening!
